Cableway

Because of its position, climate and the beauty of its surroundings, Malcesine, together with the other three localities of the northern part of the lake, is 'the favourite' among many sports and leisure time enthusiasts. With the new cableway inaugurated in July 2002, in fact, it is now possible to reach the summit of Mount Baldo, where excursionists and nature lovers can hike along the many mountain paths, while mountain bikers liberate the power of their muscles in steep climbs, only to launch themselves down breathtaking descents. Malcesine - Montebaldo Ski Area For the 2003/2004 skiing season and thanks to the new ski lifts, it will be possible to ski on Mount Baldo at the Pozza della Stella, Prà  Alpesina, La Cola Falco and Paperino ski lifts with special rates that are connected with the Malcesine - S. Michele - Montebaldo cableway system.
